The Sinkholes were sporadic around the city. The underground infrastructure was not strong enough in many places to handle the water.
This is out in front of Target by the Mall. A small creek ran by and flooded so much so that many stores have closed and will re-open when gutted and remodeled.
This is downtown Duluth. Incidentally the building down the hill on the right is where Shaphan and I were married and had our reception.
The sewer system overflowing. Yuk.
